Jaguar XJS
Available for sale in South Africa, the Jaguar XJS is positioned as a luxury grand tourer, competing against models like the Mercedes-Benz SL and BMW 6 Series. It features a variety of engine options, including a 4.0L inline-six and a robust 5.3L V12, complemented by an automatic transmission for a smooth driving experience. The XJS primarily runs on petrol, highlighting its performance-oriented nature, while offering a timeless blend of elegance and power for aficionados of classic performance vehicles.
Popular trims include the XJ-SC (R450k-R600k, offering a versatile convertible style) and the XJ12 (R600k-R800k, known for its luxury features). Key differentiators of the XJS are its distinctive design elements and the availability of an iconic V12 engine, setting it apart from competitors like the SL and 6 Series. Used models typically have mileage between 50k-100k km, and strong trade-in values for well-maintained examples contribute to its desirability among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
